Assyrian History Week is an annual observance held on the second week of April that aims to advance appreciation and understanding of Indigenous Assyrians, their history as well as rich cultural heritage. Introduced in 2023— the ACI marks this observance through various forms that may include both in-person and/or virtual awareness raising activities.
Through storytelling, Assyrian History Week aims to reflect on the accomplishments, adversities, as well as contributions made by the Assyrians throughout history. This observance is not only deeply meaningful but promotes positive steps for societal change, particularly in the countries that constitute their Traditional Homelands.
